People, Politics & Spiritual Reawakening

You may be asking yourself - "Why in the heck is a Psychic Channel concerned with politics?"

That's a great question. Short answer is: "Because politics involves people, their daily lives and livelihoods -  now & in the future." Also, most of my spirit guides were past political, philosophical and religious leaders - popular & unpopular during their lifetimes.

We live in very interesting times now - in our country and on the planet. It's all part of the Age of Transformation, where we're shedding old ideologies for new ones that better suit our spiritual evolution & enlightenment. Every facet of our human existence affects our spiritual enlightenment. That's why we're here! At least, that's my belief.

The United States & other countries across the globe are facing radical changes on several fronts at this time - social, economic, political, environmental. These changes affect us all. My intention is to provide perspectives that move us away from fear and into encouragement, empowerment - however that manifests -  reminding each one of us of our skills, truths, strengths.

Greek Philosopher Heraclitus (Pre-Socrates) once said, "Nothing is permanent but change." It's simply a matter of how we handle change. Some people welcome it, others fear it.

In the US, we're experiencing change on multiple fronts. For the first time in over 100 years, a third political party is building momentum & strength. Our financial markets appear unbalanced. Unemployment & entrepreneurship are both on the rise. Strange weather patterns occur more frequently, including possibly the world's largest piece of hail found in South Dakota. And our energy policy & usage is being revisited after almost 40 years. In short, our US ideologies are shifting.

In the wake of this shift, I've discovered something extraordinary. Something I've longed to see for the last 20 years - a reawakening in the hearts & minds of fellow Americans. For decades, we were a country of citizens who voted then moved on with our daily lives, forgetting what we voted for, relying & trusting on our leaders to carry out our wishes. Now we're taking more active roles & remembering our positions, asking leaders to hold true to them.

I see this across party lines - with liberals, conservatives, moderates, libertarians, etc. It's so refreshing. Yes, it may feel unsettling & create a bit of chaos, short-term irritability. Like when someone wakes us from a nice, sweet dream reminding us we're 10 minutes late. It's temporary.

Case in point - I attended a local Tea Party Kick-Off meeting this past weekend. Curious about their stance, their attitudes. So much controversy surrounding their party, I had to see for myself. Here's what I saw:

About 75 people between the ages of 50-80 yrs old attended. The main party chairs told me the crowd was only 1/3 its normal size.

Three capable, intelligent speakers cited world history, US history, philosophies & patterns. Two speakers were former Aerospace & Electrical Engineers from major Fortune 500 companies - smart guys. They both mentioned Quantum Physics in their dialogues. Very different from our media's portrayal of this party.

These folks were mild-mannered, respectful, intelligent, hard-working individuals who are just fed-up. On each person's face, I saw decades of hard work, diligence, perseverance, survival & ultimate intent to do the right thing - in any endeavor. They raised families, good kids, paid the piper, obeyed the rules while keeping their sense of humor. Either through layoffs, retirement or selling their businesses - they now have the free time to devote to their country. And that's what they're doing. They are walking their talk.

After attending the heated, disrespectful, loud, pushing & shoving spectacle of the Harris County Democratic Convention in 2008 (previous to Obama's election win) as an alternative Delegate, gotta say -  these Tea Party members seemed almost angelic. No one spoke or preached hate, they spoke about commonalities, the common good, with a good sized dose of individuality.

At the August 2008 Democratic convention, I heard lots of hate speech - from the main speakers to local delegations. They were fighting against, not for - against certain people, ideologies, policies. Judgments & resentments flooded the air no matter where you sat. Bully pulpits were the Daily Special.

At the recent Tea Party meeting, the rhetoric sang of mutual respect for everyone's opinions, graceful agreements to disagree, information gathering, a sense of community, common goals, common desires with spiritual & energetic overtures & spices of individuality. A call to forward action, not backward rhetoric.  A call to what Native Cultures hail as "walking your talk."

Just wanted to set the record straight. These Tea Party folks aren't scary. They even welcomed other non-believers at the beginning & middle of the meeting. Honoring & respecting others' opinions, appreciating open-minded individuals who think for themselves - whatever their beliefs are.  That was the main theme throughout each person's dialogue/speech.

I am so grateful to see these folks re-awakening their patriotic spirit, doing something about their beliefs, and walking their talk. We can all learn a lesson from their convictions. Even if we don't enjoin their views. It also points to another phrase - "better late than never." Predominantly the baby-boomer group, they're not allowing age to discourage them. They've already shifted that ideology & paradigm. Wow! Reminds me of a quote from Gone With The Wind when Big Sam saved Scarlett in shanty-town - "Horse make tracks!"

Hope this provided a new perspective for you as you walk your Sacred Path. It did me.

Social Media & Spiritual Awareness

Over the last 3 years, my Spirit Guides show me past visions they sent me decades ago, along with new ones. Their intent is two-fold: confirming their decades-old messages of truth (trust); and reminding me to apply and share with others (fulfilling part of my destiny) . I'm so fortunate to receive their guidance & wisdom about  how everything fits in the world we live now.
Some of these visions are 30-40 years old! They didn't make sense then, but everything becomes clearer now with each passing day.

What does this have to do with Social Media? This morning, my Spirit Guides/Invisible Helpers sent another reminder of past visions. It was 1970. I was 6 years old, sitting in my pink & yellow room, talking with my "invisible friends", scribbling on a writing pad. Hadn't learned to write legibly then, so they were scribbles.

Here's what they showed & said. None of it made sense then. But, boy howdy! It does now!

"Around the year 1999, information will spread across continents, across boundaries, across phone lines & belief systems. It will begin moving in a very invisible way. The information will not come from current news sources, groups, organizations. It will come from individuals. Lots of individuals. News sources will lose their credibility. Most information will be authentic, but you will have to use your intuition, your inner guidance system, to filter truth from fiction.

"Information from each person on this planet will be shared freely. Everyone will have a story to tell. Everyone will want to be heard. Every other person will want to hear them. Every story, every individual, every topic, opinion will add new dimension, new understandings to benefit all humanity.

"Through this new method, everyone will have the chance to find their soul families, their voice, to remind each that they make a difference, they have something contribute to others, they belong here, they are spiritual beings. Everyone will contribute their philosophies, opinions, diversity for the benefit of all humanity & Mother Earth. That is the true diversity. The pathway toward human unity consciousness, thereby propelling their spiritual evolution faster, quicker, deeper, stronger.

"Only by declaring, revealing each person's differences, will understandings, acceptance, occur. Then the real unity of humanity will begin.

"The closer you reach 2012, the faster this information will flow. It will flow invisibly. To an outsider, it will feel alien, otherworldly. It's all about energy - energy is invisible. Simultaneously, humanity will experience stress, loss of sleep, troubled sleep patterns, anger, anxiety - just complete jitters. It's all part of the plan. (Back then, I didn't even know what "stress" meant!)

"Energy & vibrations will be heightened as information is shared, new awareness created. That will create stress, anxiety for those wishing to hold onto their past, to the rigidity of societal norms, religious practices, belief systems, created over 3,000 yrs ago. The pattern will begin in the 1980's, moving quicker in 2000 then at lightning speed through 2014." A-ho! It is now so! Unbelievable.

They mentioned during this time, it would be best if I lived upclose & personal to nature, to ground & balance my own energies as these "invisible" energies increased.

Their ultimate message: "As technology & science move faster, so will humanity's spiritual evolution. It's about increasing, expanding awareness. Science, technology will blend with spirituality, philosophy. Thoughts will manifest quicker. Earth will change/move on its axis faster, creating imbalance with weather patterns, land shifts, etc. Be careful of the 'fire'. Human emotion such as anger will reflect as earthen planetary changes. However, Mother Earth will also change on its own as it does every 100-500 years. The Earth will not blow up. There's no such thing as 'Armageddon', unless humanity creates or fears it."

With that shared, here is another vision, prediction received about 5 years ago. It has not yet manifested in our world.
When you're driving your car on the road, you'll be able to contact another drive via cell phone (or something like it - Onstar??) by typing in their License plate number.

Wow! Wouldn't that be cool!

Why You'll Love Sedona

Sedona's beauty is spectacular. Its crimson layered rocks whisper with attention, gentleness, guidance. The soft voices echo with each careful step you take on its porous red rock surfaces, reminding you to be gentle as eons of knowledge & wisdom whisper in your ear.

Native Cultures & Tribes color each facet of nature with symbolic names. Standing People (trees); Creature-beings (animals, insects), Plant People, and finally the Stone People (rocks). Natives believe Stone People provide all the history & knowledge of this earthen world we live in, and our own personal records.

Per Native theory, Stone People exist to remind you of two life components - where you've been & where you're going. They speak to New Understandings - how to focus your intent, dispel confusion, change habits, get grounded, etc. Sedona's Red Rocks lend themselves to these endeavors of new understandings, spiritual enlightenment, new knowledge. Natives traveled here over 4500 (some say 6500) yrs ago - to listen & tap into these Red Rock Stone People's wisdom.

Present-day Sedona & its Red Rocks continue to fascinate, inspire, balance. For those wishing to escape the entanglements and chaotic cadence of city life, you'll find welcomed relief here.

All the creature comforts of our current culture exist with a touch of Mayberry RFD.

You'll find free wi-fi at almost every coffee shop & cafe. If more than 10 cars line up at a stop-light, it's called traffic.  Shop early! Most parts of town close by 8p or 9p. Some shops close by 6p.  After the sun sets, take a safe stroll under Sedona's dark-sky blanket, millions of bright stars twinkling above you. If a full moon isn't lighting the night sky, don't forget the flashlight. Sedona Police & Yavapai County Sheriffs patrol everywhere & often. On bicycles, afoot & in cars. We don't have a donut shop.

If Sedona's Red Rock energies kidnap or capture your mind (forget to lock car doors, misplace stuff), no need for alarm. 95% chance your car won't be touched & you'll find your lost items within a day or two.

This is a dog-friendly town. Bring your 4-legged! Several hotels/lodging facilities allow pets. Pull up to most drive-thrus and your pooch gets a treat. Stopping for coffee, lunch or snack, with dog in tow? Leash your pet & bring her/him along. If you see a patio, 80% chance your canine is welcomed.

Sedona's the best place in the US to hear phrase "go take a hike!" Locals say it a lot to each other. Stressed out? Take a hike - walk the land. Pondering a decision? Go take a hike. We're not offended by the suggestion, we welcome it! We have over 200 trails to choose from. See National Forest link or Best Hiking Trails. Our comfortable climate allows you to enjoy outdoor activities at least 10 months/year. Just bring 2 bottles of water for every hour you spend out there. Oh - and sunscreen & a hat. No matter what time of year.

Best place to tan while driving. Arizona's sun is bright! Don't want a tan? Roll up your windows, keep sunblock on, even when driving. The sun's UVA/UVB rays can pierce through car windows.

Be seen, get recognized. We're a friendly, small town (10,000 ppl). Frequent a restaurant, bar, or grocery store twice and the staff will recognize you forever. Especially true if you linger for about 2-3 hours. Plus we love seeing people enjoy themselves. That's the true spirit of Sedona.

Accidentally honk your horn & you'll receive either happy waves or dirty looks. We don't honk unless we're gesturing to someone we know. Honk at a red light to move a car in front of you at red light, don't expect applause or waves. We move slow here. That goes double with our new roundabouts. If someone drives slow around them, we don't honk. Slow drivers remind us locals to slow down & admire the beauty of our hometown.
Stocking up for a party? We have 2 liquor stores (package stores). Both open 7 days/wk, both drive-thrus. Or you can purchase most popular brands (liquor, beer, wine) at one of our 3 grocery stores. Might cost a bit more, but they stock most popular brands.

Red Rocks too hot for you? We have at least 4 natural swimming holes and one Sedona community pool.

Sedona locals provide a good cross-section of life. Yuppies, Hippies, New Agers, Generation X's, Y's, etc., Business Leaders, Retirees, Entertainers, Musicians, Writers, Artists, Inventors, Business owners - spanning the globe.

Any age, any interest will find fun here. Hiking, cycling, jogging, tennis, golf, swimming, fishing, local wine-tasting, soothing spas, whitewater rafting (Spring), ballooning, skydiving, rock-climbing, plane & helicopter rides, shopping, distinctive art galleries, variety of restaurants from numerous cultures, spiritual enlightenment.

Or simply be still & listen to the ageless wisdom from the Stone People.

Sedona, AZ is a small town with huge possibilities. Enjoy your visit. Stay a while. Sedona welcomes you.....
